The More Than A Legacy Giving Campaign arises out of a strategic need for more solid financial foundation for the long term future of our association. A tri-annual campaign first launched in 2008, we are praying that there are people within our Association who are gifted with the spiritual gift of giving and who feel burdened to invest in the future of our association.  2011 is the second More Than A Legacy Giving Campaign. Our Goal for this Campaign is to raise $700,000 to help provide sustainability for God’s work in the WestCoast Baptist Association.

WestCoast leaders recognized in 2010 that, in order for there to be a sustainable movement of God’s work, emphasis must be placed on

1. •reducing the dependance of generous partnership from the US,
   

2. •encouraging churches to increase their contributions towards the Association,
   

3. •prioritizing church health, and
   

4. •continue planting churches.
   

Givings towards More Than A Legacy will be directed towards:

30% is used to start new churches

30% is invested to produce interests for general use

20% is used to support churches

20% is used to support church planting coaching leadership

More Than A Legacy funds will be used between 2012 and 2014 to focus on Church Planting and Church Strengthening.

We can do this...not on our own, but by bringing what we have to Jesus.  He’ll feed the spiritually hungry people in our city, and we’ll be part of the amazing things that God plans to do.
